Gas is $2.36 a gallon at the Speedway stations on Olde Rte. 8 and Valley View Road in Northfield and at East Aurora Road and I-271 in Macedonia.
It's $2.34 a gallon at both the Speedway and the Marathon stations at Everhard Road at Whipple Avenue in North Canton.
A survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and Wright Express puts the current statewide average for regular-grade gas at $2.48 per gallon, versus $2.58 last Monday.
The cost of crude oil slid to its lowest level in a month on Friday on evidence that consumers and businesses are continuing to use less gasoline and diesel.
Ohio's average gas price of $2.48 is steeper than a year ago, when the state's motorists were paying $1.88 a gallon for regular, on average.
