CLEVELAND -- Avon Middle School art teacher Anne Maiden has been indicted on 30 charges, including theft, forgery, criminal damaging, receiving stolen property, misuse use of credit cards, and possession of criminal tools, according to Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Bill Mason.

Mason said the charges involve four cases so far and the Cleveland Metropraks rangers conducted the investigation.

On Aug. 24, a car owned by an Elyria woman was broken into at Cleveland Metroparks Little Met Golf Course.

According to Mason, her credit card was used at Walmart in North Olmsted for approximately $916, K-Mart in Brooklyn for approximately $269, Sam's Club in Brooklyn for approximately $33, and K-Mart in Middleburgh Heights for approximately $867.

On Sept. 3, a car owned by a Westlake man was broken into at Bradley Woods Reservation.

Mason says the victim's  credit card was used at a BP gas station in North Ridgeville for approximately $39, Toys "R" Us in North Olmsted for approximately $549, an additional BP gas station in North Olmsted for approximately $114, and an attempted purchase at Sears in North Olmsted.

Between Oct. 24 and Oct. 29, a car owned by a Garfield Heights woman was broken into at a parking lot at Pleasant Lake Villas in Parma.

According to Mason, her credit card was used to purchase $200 worth of gift cards at Target in Parma. On Oct. 29, a car owned by a North Royalton woman was broken into at Millstream Run Reservation.

Mason says that victim's credit card was used at Walmart in Strongsville for approximately $762 and Best Buy in Strongsville for approximately $900.

These four cases are part of a large, on-going investigation that involves multiple cities and counties, Mason said.

Maiden's arraignment is scheduled for Dec. 1.
