ASHLAND -- After almost a century, Barbasol Shave Cream is preparing to open a brand new manufacturing facility that will bring jobs to Northeast Ohio.
The building dedication took place Wednesday afternoon at the new plant on Ford Drive in Ashland. Barbasol, the first brushless shave, was created by a professor at M.I.T. Now, more than 2 million red, white and blue cans roll down the assembly line each month. Barbasol is owned by Perio, Inc. which is headquartered in Dublin, Ohio.
