LOS ANGELES -- A UCLA alumni group is calling on students to take notes of a different kind in class.
The Bruins Alumni Association is offering students up to $100 per class for tapes and notes exposing what it calls radical professors who push extreme-left positions against President Bush and the military during lectures.
The group?s founder says it wants to ?get people back on a professional level of things.? The association?s Web site has a list of what it calls the school?s 30 most radical professors. One of the targeted teachers calls it ?a reactionary form of McCarthyism? and ?right-wing propaganda.?
School officials say they?ll warn the group that selling copies of professor?s lectures would be against campus rules and would raise copyright issues.
