Cleveland leaders hit the road in effort to bring Medical Mart here

CHICAGO -- Some political and business leaders are pushing for a Medical Mart/Convention Center project to help showcase the city's medical industry and revitalize the job market.

The Medical Mart would in effect be a permanent showcase for the latest and greatest in the medical field and would provide a "one stop shopping" opportunity for healthcare providers.

Tuesday a team of Cleveland movers and shakers visited Chicago to receive a tour of a super-sized version of the project. Chicago's Merchandise Mart is so large is actually has its own zip code.
