CLEVELAND -- Just after Wednesday's lunch hour, shots rang out in the hallways of SuccessTech Academy.

Freshman Asa Coon was able to get past a security guard with not just one gun. Police say the teen entered school with at least two weapons. School officials cannot explain why Coon was not stopped from entering the building.

Frightened and desperate, students dove for cover behind any door or beneath any desk they could find.

Fellow students describe Coon's actions as angry and crazed, shooting randomly at anyone in his way.

Authorities say math teacher David Katchadoria, 57, was shot. Also caught in the gunfire was a 42-year-old social studies teacher.

Three SuccessTech students were injured including Darnell Rogers, 17, a 14-year-old female student and another teenage boy.

The shooting ended only after Coon turned the gun on himself. He was found dead on the fourth floor of the school.

District officials say Coon had been suspended after a fight earlier this week on school grounds.
