PAINESVILLE, Ohio -- Lake County Emergency Management officials announced that the remaining people evacuated from Wednesday?s train derailment may to return to their homes.

This involves all the residents living in the Heisley Park Development in Painesville City. Homeowners living in this area need to show proof of residency, such as a driver?s license, to Community Emergency Response Team members who will be at the development to provide security as the residents return home.

CSX officials tell Channel 3 News that they are continuing the clean-up process, but hope to have the tracks up and running sometime tomorrow.

If you have any questions or concerns, the Outreach Center at Lake Erie College will be open Saturday and Sunday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. or you may call CSXT at 1-877-835-5279.
