Police investigating Sunday morning stabbing in Bedford Heights

BEDFORD HEIGHTS -- A 21-year-old resident is in MetroHealth Medical Center after being stabbed in the neck, allegedly by a woman in an apartment in the Columbus Park Apts complex early Sunday.

Police are saying a 17-year-old girl stabbed Gregory Reed in the neck with a butcher knife.

Police are interviewing the girl now but she has not been charged. Police have been unable to interview Reed yet.

Police are saying that apparently Reed and the girl knew each other and Reed went to pick up the girl and brought her back to his apartment.

The girl lives in another municipality with her mother.
