Mysterious disappearance prompts new search

PARMA HEIGHTS -- A community search got underway Saturday morning for the missing 47-year-old Alan Wunderle.

Wunderle is thought to have been drawn to the scenic views of Big Creek park 10 days ago.

His family has flown from distant places to help in the search.

Wunderle was last heard from Tuesday, February 5th. Family members say his backpack and sleeping bag are missing but his cell phone and car remain in the parking lot of his apartment complex.

Parma Heights police have searched the park and come up empty handed.
