Tyler Graham loses his battle with cancer

He was one of our Channel 3 Weather Kids but to those that had the privilege of knowing Tyler Graham, he was so much more.

Just after 8 p.m. Sunday, Tyler passed away.

The Berea boy, who turned eight in March, first made headlines in 2000.

Tyler received a heart transplant on Sept. 9, 2000, when he was just six months old.

At that time, he was the youngest pediatric heart transplant at the Cleveland Clinic.

While most kids don't live past three, Tyler beat the odds.

Earlier this year, however, he was diagnosed with cancer.

His parents said he amazed not just them but his doctors with his will and strength to live.
