CLEVELAND HEIGHTS-- The undefeated Youth Football Pee Wee Gold Cleveland Heights Tigers went 11-0 this year and are National Championship-bound.

They won the Regional Championship game in Livonia, Michigan, beating their opponents the PYA All-Stars 35-0.

Coach Yaqoob Basit said, "It is going  to be a life-changing experience for them just to get down there and be a part of teams that are going to be on hand. It is something they will remember the rest of their lives."

The team raised $7,800 but need an extra $10,000 to go on the trip to Orlando.

"We have not told the kids anything about this. They have been practicing every night in the cold, anticipating being in warm weather on Saturday. I don't know what we would do if we could not raise the funds to go," Basit said.

Channel 3 wants to help the Heights Tigers See the Possible of bringing a championship home to Cleveland and are donating $1,000 to help secure the bus for their trip to Florida.

Our partners, the Cleveland Browns, are also making a donation as well.
