Columbus | New coalition criticizes Kasich policies

CLEVELAND -- Ohioans Unitedis new coalition of individuals and progressive groups who don't think much of Governor John Kasich's policies.

They think his tax, budget and education priorities and initiatives are damaging the state and helping well-to-do Ohioans at the expense of middle class, working class and low income Ohioans.

They are making their case with a series of internet video ads. The first one started this week . It attacks Kasich's tax policies.

The spokesperson is Dan Greenberg, a high school English teacher, father and taxpayer from Southview High School in Sylvania Ohio.

The group says all its ads will feature real Ohio residents, not actors.

The group is a 501c4 and says it is about policy, not partisan politics.

Spokesman Dale Butland said, "We do not urge people to vote for or against particular candidates or political parties. We do urge them to call the Governor and ask him to change his policies and policy priorities."
