Rep. Renacci standing by Trump endorsement

Republicans all over the country are facing difficult choices.

If and how to support their increasingly controversial nominee Donald Trump is the one that is most dividing the party.

Some are dealing with a decision whether or not to withdraw their endorsement of Trump after outrage due to his vulgar comments about his treatment of women.

Senator Rob Portman endorsed Trump, but carefully maintained his distance.  After the release of the Trump video, Portman withdrew his endorsement.

His move is getting a mixed reaction, both approval and blowback.

16th District Congressman Jim Renacci tells Tom Beres, he is not retracting his endorsement.

He calls Trump's remarks on the tape "appalling."

But Renacci says Hillary Clinton's actions are also "appalling" and "actions speak louder than words."

"When 70 percent of Americans disapprove of the direction our nation is headed, the last thing we can afford is four more years of the status quo, that we would get with Hillary Clinton in the White House."
