Trump, Pence at Cleveland's I-X Center

Donald Trump visited Cleveland Saturday night for a rally at the I-X Center.

CLEVELAND - Donald Trump and his running mate Mike Pence held a rally at the I-X Center Saturday night.

Just after 7 p.m., former New York City Mayor Rudy Guiliani took the stage and introduced Trump's running mate Mike Pence.

Pence took the stage with "Hello, Ohio, I'm Mike Pence." He thanked Guiliani for the introduction then added that he has a simpler introduction and that is "I'm a Christian, a conservative and a Republican, in that order."
Pence spoke for a few minutes, then introduced Trump.

"Thank you to the people of Cleveland for hosting our convention... Ohio is a special place and Cleveland is a special place..." Trump said.

The top issues for these Republicans we heard about over and over were immigration and abortion.

“No, not every Muslim is a terrorist, we know that. But those that are, they’re hell bent on destroying us,” said Mike Tollis of Parma.

“I believe Trump stands for life and that’s exactly why we’re supporting him,” Marie Skedel of Broadview Heights told us.

During Trump’s remarks he said, "In 17 days, we are going to drain the swamp in Washington D.C... We're going to cut taxes... we will rewrite our trade deals... deal with illegal immigrants... get rid of Obamacare... and your companies won't be leaving the country under a Trump administration..."

Trump flies from here to Florida where he spends the next several days. Florida is considered another must win state for Trump along with Ohio.
