Trump's Ohio campaign cuts ties with state GOP chair

Trump and the Ohio GOP have had a falling out.

Donald Trump's campaign announced a split Saturday with the chairman of the Republican party in the key battleground state of Ohio, according to NBC News.

NBC News says that the GOP presidential nominee's Ohio campaign director said the break was a result of what Trump himself considers Ohio Republican Party chairman Matt Borges' "duplicity."

Republican Party of Cuyahoga County Chairman Rob Frost recently made the following statement regarding Trump campaign staffer Robert Paduchik's recent letter to the Ohio Republican Party:

"As a leader of the local GOP and a member of the state committee that elects our state chairman, I understand that, despite the insinuation by a top Trump campaign staffer in Ohio, our party is providing the necessary resources in support of the Presidential campaign. It appears that we will be addressing this internally as a party organization, and I therefore consider it inappropriate to comment further at this time."
