Joseph Bibbo owns Midwest Paving.
According to prosecutors, he allegedly paid bribes to former Maple Heights School Treasurer Christopher Krause in the amount of $10,000 in exchange for $220,900 in contracts in 2005. Krause resigned from his position last year.
Bibbo was taken into custody Friday morning.
