CLEVELAND -- Sen. Sherrod Brown and Republican challenger, Ohio Treasurer Josh Mandel, squared off in the first of three debates at the City Club of Cleveland this afternoon.
A sellout audience of 1,300 watched the two spar in the hour-long, lively debate at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Cleveland.
The race is one of the most closely-watched contests on the November ballot.
