The five-year-old boy was found hanging upside down inside the car, still strapped securely into his car seat. He had scrapes and cuts but was generally in good condition when he was taken to Akron Children's Hospital by Aurora EMS.
The passenger, a 36-year-old Chicago woman, only had cuts and bruises and was taken by Hudson EMS to Akron Children's to be with her son.
The driver, 50, also from Chicago, suffered major injuries. Before he could be pried from the car, EMS determined that he had suffered a heart attack and had died.
