AKRON -- An Akron man is scheduled for sentencing on June 28 after being convicted of his 11th DUI.
A jury found John M. Carano, 54, guilty on Monday of two counts of operating a vehicle under the influence.
On August 6, 2011, deputies pulled Carano over after they say he crossed the median line twice as he drove from Springfield Township to his home in Akron.
Deputies pulled over Carano as he entered his own driveway. They say they found two open containers of beer, a club and a machete in the car.
Summit County Prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh announced the guilty verdict in a written release.
