AKRON -- A driver with 46 suspensions flipped his SUV on I-77 just after midnight Thursday, then ran away.
Police say that the driver lost control on the ramp from I-76 eastbound to I-77 south, flipped the SUV and then slammed into a guardrail before coming to a rest right side up.
The driver scrambled out of the SUV and ran, but a witness who called 911 and police caught up with him on Brown Street a few minutes later.
He was arrested and taken to the Summit County Jail.
Police are not releasing his name nor what the 46 suspensions were for.
