Reminder: turn clocks back one hour tonight

Most of us will get an extra hour of sleep this weekend.

Before you go to bed tonight, don't forget to set your clocks back one hour.

Daylight Savings Time officially ends overnight.

At 2 a.m. Sunday morning, most of the country officially shifts back to Standard time.

That will give most of us an extra hour of sleep this weekend.

Only people living in Hawaii, most of Arizona, and some U.S. territories will not be making the change, because they don't observe Daylight Savings Time.

This is also the time when fire officials remind us to put new batteries in our smoke alarms.

Sleep experts say there is a way to make the most out of the bonus hour of time.

Instead of sleeping longer, they suggest using the extra hour in the morning to get up and get moving.

Sleep experts say interrupting your body's natural sleep cycle can actually make you feel more tired.
