Tonight we are @ The Table talking about Skechers Shape-Ups, a shoe that was originally marketed to consumers claiming that Shape-Ups would help people lose weight, strengthen muscles and tone abs.
The Federal Trade Commission said today that Skechers USA INC. will pay $40 million to settle charges that the company deceived consumers into believing their shoe would alter their body.
