SAN FRANCISCO -- Move over iPad and Kindle. There's some new competition in tablet town.
On Wednesday, Google debuted the Nexus 7 at its technology conference in San Francisco.
The seven-inch tablet was designed by Google but built by Asus.
It can be used for magazines, books and movies.
Consumers can purchase the new gadget online now for 199 dollars at the Google Play store, but it won't ship until mid-July.
