WAYNE, N.J. -- "Toys R Us" is adding a hot toy reservation system just in time for its busiest season.
The system will start up in a few days when the retailer announces its annual list of 50 hot toys.
Products must be reserved in stores through the end of October. Once the toy is available customers get an email alert and will have until Dec. 16 to pick it up.
"Toys R Us" said its trying to help shoppers avoid a frantic last-minute search.
