This week is National Fire Prevention Week and most fires at home are sparked by cooking. Nationwide Insurance says the average cooking fire damage claim is more than $30,000. The insurance company is urging all homeowners to check your smoke alarms this week and create an emergency escape plan.
Walmart wants you to keep better track of your finances, so the retailer is teaming up with American Express. The two are rolling out a re-loadable prepaid card called "bluebird." It will have no minimum balance and no monthly, annual or overdraft fees. The card will be available next week both online and in Walmart stores.
Is your Red Bull getting a little boring? The company is unveiling three new flavors: cranberry, lime and blueberry Red Bull. The new line will be called "Red Bull Editions." The trio of new flavors should hit store shelves in March.
