For the first time Target will match prices with online competitors. That includes Amazon.com and Walmart.com. Target's CEO says they want to be "exceptionally competitive on price" this holiday season. Price matching will start on Nov. 1 and go through Dec. 16. All you have to do is show the competitor's price on your smartphone or ask customer service to look it up for you.

Microsoft's first tablet computer will have a starting price of $499. The prices matches that of Apple's iPad, the most popular tablet computer. The signature hardware feature of the tablet, which is a cover that doubles as a keyboard, will cost an additional $100. You can find the Microsoft "surface" when it goes on sale Oct. 26.

If you take a daily multi-vitamin, you could be saving your life. A new study shows taking a multi-vitamin may offer protection against cancer in healthy middle-aged men. Scientists followed 15 thousand men for more than a decade. Those who took the multi-vitamin had an 8 percent reduction in cancer cases. The American Cancer Society still recommends people who want to be healthier get nutrition from the food they eat. But for less than $20 a bottle, you can better your odds of a healthy life.
