CLEVELAND - The 2014 Gay Games announced today that Lance Bass, Broadway actress Andrea McArdle and the Pointer Sisters will headline the Opening Ceremony.
It will be held on Aug. 9 at Quicken Loans Arena.
"I'm very excited to have such a great lineup of artists joining our cast of more than 400 performers," says Opening Ceremony Producer Patrick Roberge. "The Opening Ceremony will be a grand celebration that will set the tone for a fantastic Games."
Lance Bass is best known for his time with the group 'N Sync, and is a high-profile advocate in the gay community.
Andrea McArdle portrayed the original Annie on Broadway, and received a Tony nomination for her work.
The Pointer Sisters will wrap up the ceremony.
The ceremony will also feature a cast of more than 400 performers and a Parade of Athletes who are participating in the Games.
