CLEVELAND -- A community rally was held in Cleveland Wednesday night to remember the loss of two boys outside of a recreation center in 2005 -- and inspire a movement against violence.
Lennard Pinson, 16, was shot and killed outside of Lonnie Burten Recreation Center on East 46th Street in January 2005.
In April of the same year, Brandon Davis, 11, was also shot and killed outside of the same recreation center.
Community leaders and concerned citizens gathered for a rally at the basketball court across the street from where both shootings took place Tuesday evening.
Organizers said they want to reach young people in the community to end violence in the neighborhood.
