CLEVELAND -- A minivan crashed into the side of St. Vincent Charity Medical Center in Cleveland early Thursday morning.
The crash was reported shortly before 1 a.m. at East 24th Street and Community College Avenue.
The driver of a stolen Dodge minivan lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a metal grate on the side of the building, damaging a traffic light control mechanism in the process.
A nearby traffic light went out as a result of the crash.
Crews were working overnight to safely remove the car because it is balanced on a grate that covers a 30-foot trench on that side of the building.
The whereabouts of the driver are not known at this time.
