AKRON -- The incident was reported around 7:30 p.m. Friday when police were notified of an assault victim being treated at St. Thomas Hospital.
According to Akron Police, one of the 30-year-old victim's ears was bitten by another man "almost separating it from his head" during a fight in the 100 block of South Maple Street.
Police have identified a suspect, but did not release that information.
No charges have yet been filed.
