AKRON -- The Summit County Medical Examiner's Office has positively identified the man fatally shot Tuesday afternoon in Akron as Jarrell Cunninghman.

Details surrounding the shooting have been sparse, but authorities have said that Cunningham, 27, was gunned down at a home in the 600 block of Madison Avenue shortly after noon.

A second, yet-to-be-identified male, was also shot during the incident. Authorities said he survived and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The shooting is under investigation.
