BRUNSWICK -- A 70-year-old Hinckley man is in custody after allegedly robbing a bank and leading police on a chase.
Brunswick police say it started around 1:15 p.m. when the Huntington Bank at 3630 Center Road was hit by a robber.
Upon arrival, officers became involved in a pursuit with a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado.
The pursuit left the city of Brunswick, going along Route 303 to I-71 South. From there it went to Route 3, Fenn Road and Pearl Road.
Authorities say the vehicle pursuit came to an end when the suspect's car struck a Brunswick Police vehicle in the city of Medina on East Smith Road.
A foot chase then took place in Medina where the suspect was apprehended.
Brunswick Police say the suspect will be charged with aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony.
Other agencies involved in the pursuit were the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Medina County Sheriff's Office, Medina Township Police and Medina Police.
The incident remains under investigation.
