LIMA, Ohio -- A northwest Ohio city will continue its traditional weekly summer entertainment series but limit parking at the town square where a car plowed into a crowd, injuring more than two dozen people.

Two people were seriously hurt in the June 15 crash in Lima, about 70 miles southwest of Toledo. Police have said the car was stopped in a nearby parking space before it accelerated in the apparent accident.

An event official tells The Lima News police decided to block off parking on one side of the square during such gatherings as a safety precaution.

Residents who attended this weekend's event said the crash appeared to an isolated incident and they intended to keep showing up.

Some signed "thinking of you" posters to be sent to the injured.
