Now that Ashford Thompson is sentenced to death for the murder of her husband, Twinsburg Officer Josh Miktarian, Holly must move on, and raise their 2-year-old toddler alone.
"So proud, he'd be so proud of Thea."
Thea Miktarian is filled with joy, when pointing at a picture of her Dad. Thea was only 3 months old when Josh was killed. Holly says it's important to keep his memory alive.
"I was told to tell her that her daddy is a hero, until she's much older to understand anything else," explains Holly.
As a young widow with a toddler to raise, Holly says two years after her husband's death; she still feels his absence every day. But, family support has carried her along way.
"Just not having him here for her, he said I would have been the disciplinarian and he would have been the fun parent," Holly shares.
