Both Gov. John Kasich and the Ohio Association of Professional Fire Fighters will try to woo voters before Tuesday's election.
Debate Overview: Yes or No on Issue 2?
Kasich and Lt. Gov. Mary Taylor will rally Issue 2 supporters at two Northeast Ohio events on Thursday.
The first will be at 5 p.m. at the Independence Recreation Center 6200 Elmwood Drive in Independence (Note: Enter rec center complex via Selig Dr. north entrance between the Independence Building Department and the Independence Fire Station. There will be signs directing you to the event space.)
Then they will travel to Summit County at 7 p.m. to rally at Prime at Anthe's at 4315 Manchester Road in Akron.
On the other side of the issue, the Ohio Association of Professional Fire Fighters will launch a bus tour around the state to urge a no vote on Issue 2.
The tour will stop in Akron, Cleveland and Middleburg Heights but organizers are keeping the exact locations under wraps until later in the week.
