Miami, FL (Sports Network) - The Miami Marlins brought back infielder Greg
Dobbs with a two-year deal on Thursday.
No terms of the contract were released, but multiple reports state the pact is
worth $3 million.
The 33-year-old left-hander hit .275 with eight home runs, 23 doubles and 49
RBI in 134 games with the Marlins in 2011.
An eight-year pro, Dobbs is a lifetime .264 hitter who has collected 39 homers
and 81 doubles while knocking in 211 runs with Seattle (2004-06), Philadelphia
(2007-10) and Florida.
