Portland, OR (Sports Network) - Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus
Aldridge left Tuesday's contest against the Washington Wizards with a left
ankle injury.
Less than two minutes into the first quarter, Aldridge sank a fadeaway jumper
from the right elbow, but rolled his left ankle as he made his landing.
He immediately fell to the floor and was looked at by team trainers before
being helped into the locker room.
Aldridge, who is Portland's leading scorer, averages 23.3 points, 8.6
rebounds and 2.8 assists per game for the Blazers.
