CLEVELAND -- A spill of hydraulic fluid forced police to shut down lanes on Carnegie Avenue Monday afternoon.

A WKYC crew at the scene says one lane in each direction is closed between East 55th and East 79th due to the slippery fluid.

Crews have put down absorption materials to clean up the spill.

Drivers should avoid the area is possible.
