Miami, FL (Sports Network) - The Miami Marlins recalled infielder Gaby Sanchez
from Triple-A New Orleans and designated infielder Donnie Murphy for
assignment.
Sanchez, who made the National League All-Star team last season, was sent down
to the minors last month after hitting .197 in 36 games for the Marlins this
year.
Murphy was hitting just .133 with two homers and five RBI in 27 games for
Miami this season.
