Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - The Cincinnati Reds activated pitcher
Bill Bray from the 15-day disabled list Friday and optioned pitcher J.J.
Hoover to Triple-A Louisville.
Bray appeared in just five games for Cincinnati this season before a strained
left groin forced him to the DL on April 19, one day after he surrendered
three runs on four hits in one inning of work against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Hoover, who was called up when Bray landed on the DL, accrued a 1-0 record
with a 3.00 earned run average in 17 games with the Reds.
