CONCORD -- The Lake County Sheriff's Office responded to an address on Oakridge Drive in Concord Township last week after reports of a suspicious vehicle.
A resident on Oakridge Drive saw a suspicious vehicle drive by his residence and throw something into his yard.
When deputies arrived on the scene, it was discovered that the item was a "bottle bomb," made with household items and an acid-based cleaning solution.
Five people were detained at the scene, two adults and three juveniles. There were no injuries as a result of the explosion. The case is currently under investigation.
