MEDINA -- A man who deputies say used a claw hammer to attack his victim is Fugitive of the Week.
U.S. Marshals and the Medina County Sheriff's Department are searching for Dayshawn Wheeler, 22, of Medina. He faces nine separate charges for the attack on a man who was severely beaten.
Deputies accuse Wheeler of breaking into the man's home, pistol-whipping him across the head, cracking his skull, and then using a claw hammer to beat him in the abdomen.
Wheeler then robbed the man, who staggered to a neighbor's house and called police, according to U.S. Marshals.

The Fugitive of the Week is believed to be hiding in Cleveland or Medina, where he had been living in the 200 block of Abbyville Road.
A reward is being offered for the information which leads to Wheeler's capture. Tips can be called into the U.S. Marshal's fugitive hotline, at 1-866-4-WANTED, or texted to 847411 (tip411) using the keyword WANTED.
