CLEVELAND -- The United Way of Greater Cleveland kicked off its 2012 campaign Thursday morning with the annual Pancake Flip on Public Square.

This year's campaign goal is $41 million.

This year's campaign co-chairs are Rick Chiricosta, Medical Mutual president & chief executive officer, and Dan Walsh, The Huntington National Bank, president Northeast Ohio.

United Way CEO and president Bill Kitson says this year's goal is a two-percent increase over last year's campaign.

Volunteers at the pancake flip helped serve up more than 10,000 pancakes for breakfasts for more than 3,000 people.
