Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - The Atlanta Braves released shortstop Jack
Wilson on Friday.
The 11-year veteran had been on the disabled list since July 14 with a
dislocated pinkie.
For the season, the 34-year-old is hitting just .169 and has knocked in four
runs.
Over two seasons with Atlanta, Wilson hit .188 with a .207 on-base percentage
and a .223 slugging percentage in 57 games.
