New York, NY (Sports Network) - Cleveland Browns cornerback Joe Haden will
begin serving a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's policy on
performance enhancing substances.
It was reported last month that Haden had tested positive for the prescription
drug Adderall. The 23-year-old had appealed the suspension and was able to
play against the Philadelphia Eagles in the season opener on Sunday.
Haden had an interception in the 17-16 loss, but will now miss games against
the Bengals, Bills, Ravens and Giants.
Haden, the seventh overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, has recorded 135
tackles, two sacks and seven interceptions in 32 career games for the Browns.
