VERMILION -- People who live in Vermilion, have been boiling their drinking water for the last 5 days.
But some people say -- the city didn't do enough, to let people know about the boil alert. But the city says it did its best.
The alert was issued Friday, when cracks in the city's reservoir roof allowed rainwater to seep in.
Some businesses are seeing an impact due to the ongoing boil advisory.
Later today, the city will tap into the water systems of Erie County and the city of Lorain, until repairs are complete.
