Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - Hunter Pence clubbed his third career grand
slam as the San Francisco Giants downed the Arizona Diamondbacks, 6-2, on
Friday.
Buster Posey scored twice and knocked in a run and Santiago Cassila picked up
his first career base hit and RBI for the Giants, who have won eight of their
last 12.
Matt Cain (14-5) allowed one run on four hits over five-plus innings to pick
up the win despite walking a season-high five batters.
Chris Johnson went 2-for-3 and drove in both runs for the Diamondbacks, who
had won five of seven overall entering the game.
Tyler Skaggs (1-2) was pegged with the loss after giving up five runs on five
hits over four innings.
