Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - The Philadelphia Eagles decided to place
center Jason Kelce on injured reserve Tuesday.
Kelce fully tore the MCL and partially tore the ACL in his right knee during
Sunday's 24-23 victory over the Baltimore Ravens.
The second-year center out of Cincinnati was scheduled to have a diagnostic
arthroscope on Tuesday.
The Eagles signed veteran offensive lineman Steve Vallos to take Kelce's
roster spot.
Vallos has played in 40 career games (eight starts) with the Seahawks and
Browns. The Wake Forest product spent the entire offseason with Philadelphia.
