CLEVELAND -- An overnight car crash knocked down a utility pole on Cleveland's east side, closing a block of Milverton Road overnight.
The crash was reported before 3:30 a.m.
A white Dodge Magnum struck the utility pole at East 147th Street and Milverton Road. The pole fell into the street, laying wires across the road.
Cleveland Public Power was called to the scene.
The driver was not seriously injured.
Milverton will remain closed between E. 147th and E. 149th streets until crews can clean up the wreck and finish their on-scene investigation.
