SANDUSKY -- An amusement park staple that helps keep you cool in sizzling summer heat is sticking around.

Cedar Fair has announced an extended "long-term" agreement with the ICEE Company and will continue serving the frozen drinks throughout all its parks across the country -- including Cedar Point.

The length of the agreement was not specified in a Cedar Fair press release other than saying it's for multiple years.

The ICEE Company is also known for their SLUSH PUPPiE and Parrot-Ice treats.

Cedar Point is currently in HalloWeekends mode, but will close for the 2012 season with its final night on Sunday, Oct. 28.

Construction is already underway on GateKeeper, a winged roller coaster that will be unleashed when the park opens in 2013.
